Receptionist
Job Description Location: Windsor Leisure Centre
Job Type: Full time
Pay: Range from £10.85 - £12.71 (age dependent)
Job Purpose:
To provide a welcoming, efficient, and professional reception service to all visitors, members, and staff at the leisure centre, ensuring smooth day-to-day front-of-house operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet all customers in a friendly, professional manner and provide excellent customer service at all times.
- Handle enquiries in person, over the phone, and via email, providing accurate information about facilities, classes, memberships, and bookings.
- Process memberships, bookings, payments, and cancellations using the centre’s booking system.
- Manage the reception desk, ensuring it is tidy, organised, and well-stocked with information leaflets.
- Deal with customer queries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.
- Support the daily opening and closing procedures of the reception area.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, bookings, and customer interactions.
- Promote leisure centre services, activities, and events to customers.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures and report any concerns.
- Work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Person Specification Essential:
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Friendly, approachable, and professional manner.
- Basic IT skills and ability to learn booking systems.
- Ability to work well in a busy environment.
- Reliability and punctuality.
Additional Information:
- This is a casual role with variable hours depending on business needs.
- Training will be provided on systems and procedures.
- Uniform may be required depending on the centre .
