Job Description Location:  Windsor Leisure Centre
Job Type: Full time
Pay: Range from £10.85 - £12.71 (age dependent)

Job Purpose:
To provide a welcoming, efficient, and professional reception service to all visitors, members, and staff at the leisure centre, ensuring smooth day-to-day front-of-house operations.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Greet all customers in a friendly, professional manner and provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Handle enquiries in person, over the phone, and via email, providing accurate information about facilities, classes, memberships, and bookings.
  • Process memberships, bookings, payments, and cancellations using the centre’s booking system.
  • Manage the reception desk, ensuring it is tidy, organised, and well-stocked with information leaflets.
  • Deal with customer queries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.
  • Support the daily opening and closing procedures of the reception area.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions, bookings, and customer interactions.
  • Promote leisure centre services, activities, and events to customers.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures and report any concerns.
  • Work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Person Specification Essential: 
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional manner.
  • Basic IT skills and ability to learn booking systems.
  • Ability to work well in a busy environment.
  • Reliability and punctuality.

Additional Information:
  •  This is a casual role with variable hours depending on business needs.
  •  Training will be provided on systems and procedures.
  •  Uniform may be required depending on the centre .
