Fitness Instructor.

Location: Windsor Leisure Centre.

Contract Type: Casual.

Salary: £12.71 to £13.71.

Reports to: Fitness Manager.

About the Role:

Leisure Focus is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Fitness Instructor to join our team at Windsor Leisure Centre.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about health, fitness, and customer service to play a key role in delivering an outstanding experience for our members and supporting them in achieving their fitness goals.

You will be responsible for supervising the gym floor, supporting members, delivering inductions, and contributing to a positive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming gym environment.
Conduct gym inductions and fitness assessments.
Support members with safe and effective use of equipment.
Deliver basic fitness programmes tailored to individual needs.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety within the fitness suite.
Monitor member engagement and proactively offer support.
Promote memberships, classes, and additional services.
Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.

About You:

We are looking for someone who is:

Passionate about fitness, health, and wellbeing.
Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused.
Confident in engaging with a wide range of people.
A strong team player with a positive attitude.
Reliable and able to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications & Experience:

Level 2 Gym Instructor Qualification (essential).
Level 3 Personal Training (desirable).
First Aid qualification (desirable or willingness to obtain).
Previous experience in a fitness environment (preferred).

DBS

The position of Fitness Instructor is classed as a regulated post and therefore requires a DBS Disclosure. Where the individual does not already hold a DBS Disclosure, it will be necessary for the post holder to be submitted for a DBS check.
